Oppo, Vivo, Realme and OnePlus Owned by BBK Group


BBK is the 2nd world largest Chinese multinational private organization that experts in electronics such as television sets, MP3 players, digital cameras and smartphones. They have also recently become popular in developing countries such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China itself.

BBK includes markets of smartphones under the Realme, Oppo, Vivo, and OnePlus brands. It also covers markets Blu-ray players, headphones, amplifiers and smartwatches under the Digital brand of Oppo. The headquarters and production base of BBK Electronics is located in Chang'an, Dongguan. It is the highest taxpayer private company in Chang'an. BBK mainly focuses on its latest mobile prices in Pakistan and has the ability to compete with other brands.


In Q1, 2017, BB Electronics shipped 56.7 million smartphones, surpassing both Samsung and Huawei, and became the world's second-largest smartphone maker.
  • In the fourth quarter of 2019, BBK Group acquired a major share of 43% in the smartphone market while Xiaomi had 27%.
  • With this brand, BB Group will now have five brands OnePlus, Vivo, OPPO, Realme and now IQ to compete with rivals in India in 2020.

While Vivo's market share has increased from 10% in 2018 to 16% in the calendar year 2019, the share of Realme has increased from 3% to 10% in 2019, with OPPO's share of 8% in 2019. Has increased to 9% in 2019.

OnePlus also became the fastest growing smartphone brand in 2019 with 29% shares. Where Realm grew massively by 255 percent in 2019, Vivo recorded 76 percent and OPPO recorded 28 percent growth.
This year, the group has developed another brand called IQOO in the competitive Indian market, which will be the first, 5G-ready premium device in the country and will take on Xiaomi's new brand POC.

The IQ brand - which already has six devices in its portfolio in China with the most recent IQN 855 racing - will act as a separate legal entity in the country.

With this brand, BBK Group will now have five brands OnePlus, Vivo, OPPO, Realme and now IQOO.
